Hello everyone.....

Hello everyone,

We hope you have had a lovely weekend enjoying this amazing Autumn weather.

Last week we have enjoyed listening to a variety of Autumn stories and talking about the season of Autumn. We have enjoyed singing a few Autumn songs. On Monday we enjoyed the story of We're going on a leaf hunt and after snack we went on our own leaf hunt and acted out the story. In the afternoon we used the leaves we collected to make our own leaf crowns.
On Tuesday a group of children had PE with Mr Treble and we played  a couple of new games. We played cup and cone. We also played fruit salad. When Mr Treble said a fruit we had to run to a certain place in the room. We also played our favourite game of sleepy pirates. We also did some bubble painting with Autumn colours. We used straws to blow bubbles in the paint and then covered our paper with the bubbles. In the afternoon we found the sycamore tree seeds and experimented what happened when you throw them up in the air. We found out they twirled around like helicopters.
On Wednesday morning we went on a Autumn Scavenger hunt and we ticked off on our list of objects what we found, heard and saw.
On Thursday morning we created stuck leaves onto our bubble paintings to make a pictures. In The afternoon we did some conker rolling down the tubes and watch what number our conker landed on.
Throughout the week we have been busy creating our Christmas cards to send to the printers. More information will follow soon about how to order these.
Throughout the week we have enjoyed playing with the wood block centre with wild animals. We have enjoyed making habitats for the animals and then playing with it. We have been busy making Autumn potions in the water tray with green glittery water, leaves and apples. We have enjoyed playing with the WOW farm and cars and garage.
Also we have been busy creating with the Lego toolo by making diggers.

Here are some pictures of our week....
