Hello everyone....

Hello everyone,

We hope you have all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sunshine.

Last week we enjoyed listening to lots of Spring stories about frogs, tadpoles, chicks and hen. We also really enjoyed the story Emma bought in called The dinosaur who pooped a planet.
On Monday we had great fun working as a team to do some large tray marble printing which we are going to cut into giant eggs. On Tuesday morning we made our bunny ears ready for the sponsored bunny hop. In the afternoon we had a go at making a ballon rocket zip line outside. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we met the Easter Bunny for a sponsored bunny hop and ate some delicious chocolate eggs. Throughout the week we have really been enjoying playing outside. Some of us this week have learnt to ride a bike with pedals. We were so proud of ourselves. We have enjoyed making bridges with planks and crates to cross the bridge without the troll seeing us. Also we have loved playing what's the time Mr Wolf.
Throughout the week we have been making lemonade in the water tray. We have used a variety of kitchen utensils, lemons, water, jugs, tweezers and cups. We have been using playdough with the Easter  cutters and creating decorated eggs with gems, buttons and pipe cleaners and also chicks with feathers.
At the finger gym table we have been using tweezers to pick up tiny pompom's and placing them in the egg boxes. We have been working together to construct marble runs and have adapted them to make them bigger or improve them. we have had some beautiful tulips on display and the children have had a go at drawing them. On the small world table we have enjoyed being imaginative with all the easter and spring props and making up our own stories with friends. We have been observing the changes happening with the tadpoles. They are starting to grow legs.

In Read Write Inc we have been busy playing lots of Fred Frog talk games and saying the picture names. The children are great at recognising all the pictures.

Here are some pictures of our

This week we will be continuing to learn all about Eater and we have some fun activities planned around this. We are going to be making an Easter Wreath to bring home. We are going to be making some chocolate nest, eating hot cross buns and having an Easter egg hunt. Also hopefully our eggs are going to hatch.
