Hello everyone

Hello everyone,

We hope you have all had a fantastic weekend.

Last week we had a great time settling back into pre-school and spending lots of time exploring outside. We have really enjoyed playing and exploring with the new water play area. We have deheaded the daffodils and using them in the mud kitchen area. We explore what was inside the small pods. We have planted some sunflower seeds which will go into the preschool  daffodil bed. We have been pressing flowers and plants onto fabric using a pebble. They look amazing and we are go to make some bunting with them to display outside. We have been watering our plants. In the role play area we have got a clothes shop with clothes, Jewellery, shoes and bags. We have had lots of fun exploring this. Our tadpoles have got bigger and we have been observing them in the tank.

This week we will sharing the story of Jack and the beanstalk with a variety of activities based around the story which include planting a bean, golden egg hunt, harp threading, tasting different types of beans, playing the bean game and lots more.

Jennie Jigsaw- At group time we will continue to talk about friendships.

The beanstalk was very tall. Can you find 5 things in your house that are taller than you and 5 things that are shorter than you?
