Hello everyone...

Hello everyone,

We hope you have all had an amazing half term enjoying the glorious sunshine. We look forward to hearing all about your adventures.

This week we are going to be sharing the story of The Jolly Postman and other stories involving letters. We are going to be creating a special picture/message to post to a family member. A permission slip letter will be coming home this week to enable to children to visit the post box the following week to post their special picture/message. We have got lots of exciting activities linked to the story of The jolly postman including exploring maps, stamps and lots more. We will also be finishing off our self portraits for the Pre-school Year 2 Tea Towel which you will be able order.

Home learning challenge

Can you bring in an address for a family member who you would like to send a picture/message to?

Notices

As the weather is starting to warm, please could all children bring sun hats to school. We do have a box of spares if needed. Please  apply suncream to your child before school and tick your child's name off on the list which will be on the green table by the pre-school door. If you have ticked to supply your own suncream, please could you make sure either it is in their bags or a spare is kept at pre-school.

On Wednesday there is a POWSA meeting at 7.30pm in the main school hall. Everyone welcome to come along. If you have a question or would like more information please come and speak to Julia.

Due to the photographer canceling the class photo before half term due to the weather. This has been rescheduled for Wednesday 23rd June in the afternoon. A letter will be sent out this week.

On the whiteboard outside the classroom door is a pocket with Home Wow slips in, please help yourself to these. We love celebrating the children's home WOW'S.

We love seeing all the lovely home learning you are all doing so please do email it in to j.nineham@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk and headteacher@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk

If you have any questions, please just ask.

Heres to another amazing week of adventures.

Julia, Sharon, Colleen, Karen, Helen and Suzanne
