Hello everyone,

We had a great first week back learning all about frogs. We have listened to lots of different stories about frogs and enjoyed singing 5 green and speckled frogs. We have come up with lots of facts we know about frogs and questions we wanted to find out. We had lots of fun pond dipping in the school pond during Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. We have collected some frog spawn for our classroom so we can watch them change in tadpoles. We have drawn some pictures of the frog spawn. On Tuesday morning we had Mr Treble for PE and we went on the field and practiced lots of our ball skills. We are getting amazing at getting changed ready for PE. On Friday morning we went to watch Reception class assembly which we enjoyed and did some fantastic listening. On Friday afternoon we enjoyed playing number bingo and letter bingo. Over the week we have enjoyed being creative with all different resources to make things to do with frogs. These are up on display in the classroom. We have played the frog number board game and also played a frog number game on the interactive whiteboard. We have been focusing on matching quantity to numeral.

This week we will be celebrating World Book week with a variety of activities.
