In the afternoon we went over to the forest area and had a story in the shade along with Julia retelling the story of Goldilocks and the three bears with our help. We also had a great time exploring the forest school areas and the secret paths. We used clay and natural objects to make faces. We were all very creative. On Wednesday we practiced our sports day races including the egg and spoon, running, sack and hurdles race. We also saw how far we could throw a beanbag. In the afternoon we went to playtrail and created some great imaginative role play. On Thursday we had a special family member come in and we did a live zoom call with their Auntie in Australia. We learnt lots of great facts about Australia and tried some Australian food. We painted our own Australian flags and created some aboriginal art work. Imogen also bought in lots of yummy fruit to make fruit kebabs which we loved eating for snack. On Thursday afternoon a group of children had a great time going swimming.
