The seaside

Hello everyone,

Last week we had great fun making flapjacks as a yummy treats for our Dad's and making cards by choosing their favourite picture and water colouring. We were all amazing at painting with such great care and control. We hope all our Dad's had a wonderful Father's Day. We also shared lots of stories about Dad's and talked about what was special about our dads. On Thursday morning we went to the beach and had a great time exploring the beach by collecting objects, playing in the water and making sandcastles. There are some great pictures the children have drawn from our beach trip. There will also be some photos up this week from the trip.

This week we are going to be continuing our theme of the seaside with lots of activities including sandcastle making, salt dough underwater creatures, seaside stories and poems and also a visit from the beach lifeguards to talk about sea safety.
