🌟 Preschool Weekly Blog 🌟

We hope you have all had a lovely weekend and have enjoyed spending time together. It has been another busy and memorable week at preschool, filled with exciting activities, celebrations and special moments.

💦 Monday
We started the week with our swimming session, where the children continued to grow in confidence in the water while having lots of fun. Afterwards, the children enjoyed making a delicious blueberry cake, ready to take to our friends at kickboxing. They carefully measured, mixed and stirred the ingredients together, developing their teamwork and early maths skills.

🥋 Tuesday
Tuesday was a very special day as some of our children took part in their Kickboxing Graduation. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved over the year. Their confidence, determination and perseverance have shone through, and it was wonderful to celebrate their success together. In the afternoon we played in the hall and a group children went swimming. 

🎶 Wednesday
On Wednesday we enjoyed another lovely visit to our local care home. The children sang songs, shared stories and enjoyed cake with the residents. It was wonderful to see the smiles on everyone's faces as the children chatted so confidently with their new friends.

Back at preschool, a small group of children baked some delicious cakes for Sian as a thoughtful surprise. In the afternoon we enjoyed our final Relax Kids session of the year, helping us to feel calm and relaxed. We then shared cake together with Sian to celebrate and thank her for everything she has done.

🤸 Thursday
Thursday morning was our final YMCA gym session. The children have absolutely loved these sessions throughout the year and have developed so many new physical skills, confidence and resilience.

In the afternoon, our Year 2 children enjoyed spending time in Reception for their transition visit, where they joined in with a lovely BBQ. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to become more familiar with their new environment, staff and friends ahead of September.

🌳 Friday
We finished the week with a relaxed day enjoying both our indoor and outdoor learning environments. The children chose their own activities, played with their friends and made the most of the beautiful weather while creating lots of happy memories together.

📖 Dates for Your Diary

On Thursday you are welcome to come and watch your child at the YMCA Gym. Please come for 10.00am at the Gym.

On Tuesday we have got POWSA monthly catchup at 7.30pm in the main school staffroom. Everyone welcome.
