Hello everyone......

 Hello everyone,

We hope you have all had a great weekend with your families and friends.

Last week we had a great week continuing to explore fireworks through a variety of activities. We also explored Remembrance Day and Children in Need Day.

On Monday we talked about Remembrance Day and watched the CBeebies poppies video. We also made a poppy biscuit to bring home. We also created our own poppy using tissue paper, crayons and felt tips. We also had PE and we used the large climbing equipment and beches to explore climbing and balancing.

On Tuesday we went to the woods and explored Autumn. We looked at all the diffrent coloured leaves and how they have changed. We also talked about the diffrent types of trees. We learnt all about evergreen tree's. We had a great time climbing on logs and balancing. We also enjoyed running down the hills. We played hide the adult and seek them out. We found lot's of horse chest nuts. In the afternoon we recalled our trip to the woods and drew some pictures of our trip to the woods.

On Wednesday morning a group of children had PE with Colleen and Lauren. We used some equipment to practice jumping off and landing on two feet, balancing and climbing over and under. Another group went to the care home for a sing song and a yummy cake. The children are becoming more confident with talking to the residents. In the afternoon we created our own firework names. We had to find our name and then make it into rocket. We peeled the star stickers off and stuck them on our picture.

On  Wednesday and Thursday we created a Christmas Picture for the Tesco shopping trolleys. Look out for your design.

On Thursday afternoon we played shape bingo in small groups. Throughout the week we have also been playing the hedgehog game.
