Hello everyone........

 Hello everyone...

We hope you have all had a fabulous weekend in the wonderful sunshine with family and friends.

On Monday Alishba's dad came in to pre-school to talk about his home country of Bangladesh and bought us some yummy curry, rice, savoury and sweet snacks.  On Wednesday we had our sports day races including the egg and spoon, running, relay, sack and hurdles race. We also saw how far we could throw a beanbag. It was lovely to show all our parents and carers our gross motor skills. On Wednesday afternoon we made strawberry ice cream for snack. It was very yummy. On Friday afternoon we went swimming and had a great time in the pool. We are so confident in the water now. We have had a lovely week playing outside. We have enjoyed constructing with the Mobilo, wooden construction robots and wooden flowers. In the number area we have been using the coloured pegs to make number towers and repeating patterns. We have been mark making on black paper with chalks. On our finger frenzy table this week we have been playing the fishing game which we have loved. On our small world table we have enjoyed playing with the camping scene. We have had great fun playing with the shaving foam ice cream. In our role play we have had a under the sea and a ice-cream role play shop.

In our Read write Inc groups with have been learning the following sounds:

Julia's, Colleen and Lauren's group- m,a,s,d,t, i, n,p,g,o,c,k,u,b,f,e,l

We enjoy seeing the children after school socialising in the pre-school garden. We are more than happy for the children to play with resources which are out e.g. bikes but we kindly ask that after you finish playing with them please pop them back where you found them.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
