Hello everyone...
We hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.
Last week we enjoyed sharing a range of stories and songs and welcoming our new friend Kira to our class. On Monday Leo's mum bought in their pet duck. The children really enjoyed stroking her and learning lots of facts about ducks. They also enjoyed feeding her with peas.
On Tuesday we had PE with Mr Treble and we played some games on the field. We enjoyed playing find the cones in the wood area. We are great at this game.
On Thursday we had the photographer in to take our whole class photo. We were all amazing at smiling at the camera. We enjoyed playing on the playtrail after and climbing in the trees. In the afternoon we did some gardening in the nature garden. We planted some onions and artichokes and did some weeding.
Throughout the week we have continued to create our invitations for our grandparents and have visited the post box.
On our finger frenzy table we have been busy wrapping pipe cleaners around sticks. In the playdough we have been making bugs and insects. We have really enjoyed playing with the firestation small world and making up our own stories. In the number area with having been using the loose parts to count and match numeral to quantity.

Please apply suncream to your child before school and tick your child's name off on the list which will be on the green table by the pre-school door. If you have ticked to supply your own suncream, please could you make sure either it is in their bags or a spare is kept at pre-school.
