Hello everyone,

We hope you have all had a wonderful Easter hols enjoying lot's of adventures. What beautiful weather we have had. We look forward to hearing about all your adventures and please do bring in photos to share at group time.

This week we will be settling back in to pre-school, enjoying our new outdoor water play and doing lots of gardening including planting some sunflower seeds. 

Jennie Jigsaw- At group time we will be talking about friendships. 

We welcome Suzanne to the Pre-School team this term and Suzanne is very much looking forward to working with the children. Suzanne will be based in the Year 1 class in the mornings and working with the Year 2 some afternoons.

Notices

As the weather is starting to warm, please could all children bring sun hats to school. We do have a box of spares if needed. If you have applied suncream to your child before school please could you let a member of staff know. If you have ticked to supply your own suncream, please could you make sure children have this when they come to Pre-school ready for us to apply.

On the whiteboard outside the classroom door is a pocket with Home Wow slips in, please help yourself to these. We love celebrating the children's home WOW'S.

The Big Pedal

The Big pedal starts tomorrow Monday (19th April) and we encourage children to come to school by bike or scooter if they can during this fortnight (and beyond). To prepare for the event Sustrans have provided us with some safety check videos to help you and your child get their bikes or scooters ready.
