We hope you have all had a great weekend with your family and friends in the beautiful sunshine.
On Tuesday we had kickboxing and we went on a monkey adventure to the city. We did lots of crawling and balancing. We have also been sticking our pictures, wow's and artwork into our magical achievement books.
On Wednesday morning a group of children went to the care home for a sing song, story and yummy cakes. Another group of children had PE and had great fun climbing the trees to collect the cones. In the afternoon we had a lovely time outside playing and some of us created our invitations to send to our grandparents to invite them to our grandparents snack. We also cut up tomatoes to make a sauce for our pizza's. In the afternoon we made pizza's using the tomatoes sauce we made for snack. They were very yummy.
On Thursday we went to school to the Wessex Musical concert. We got to listen to a variety of instruments. We all really enjoyed it. Also some children made Fruit Smoothies. They cut up all the fruit and used the blender to make the smoothies. In the afternoon a group of us went to the post box to post our grandparents invitations.
On Friday morning we planted runner beans and draw castles to attach to our wooden stick. We are looking forward to our beans growing up to the castle. We talked about what seeds need to be able to grow. In the afternoon we went to the park across the road from Pre-school. We had a lovely time playing football and playing on the park equipment.
Throughout the week we have enjoyed constructing with the Duplo, Zoo waffle, robot construction. In the number area we have been playing with the numeral elephants and links. We have been putting the correct number of plastic links on the numeral elephants (1-15). We have enjoyed using the initial sounds pots by working out which pictures go in the correct initial sound pot. We have also enjoyedmaking castles using the water play resources. In the small world area we have been playing with the puppet theatre with the characters from Jack and the beanstalk. On our finger frenzy table this week we have been playing with the magnetic boards and pens and making lots of shapes and patterns. We have had tHappy Land out on the floor in room 2. We have a shop as a role play area this half term.
