Hello everyone....

Hello everyone....

We hope you have all had a great weekend with your family and friends in the beautiful sunshine.

On Monday morning we went in small groups to build the new roundhouse. We helped to weave the very long sticks and move the mud. A group of children had PE and enjoyed climbing in the trees to collect the cones. Also trying out the new running track ready for Sports Day. In the afternoon we went to soft play and made scones for snack. They were delicious with jam on.

On Tuesday we had kickboxing and we went on a monkey adventure at the seaside.  We have also been sticking our pictures, wow's and artwork into our magical achievement books. A group of children visited the post box to post their invitations. In the afternoon we drew a chalk beanstalk and threw beanbags to see how far up the beanstalk we could throw them.

On Wednesday morning a group of children went to the care home for a sing song, story and yummy cakes. Another group of children had PE and had great fun climbing the trees to collect the cones and trying out the new running track ready for Sports Day. We planted runner beans and draw castles to attach to our wooden stick.

On Thursday we went to school to the Wessex Musical concert. We got to listen to a variety of instruments. We all really enjoyed it. Also some children made Fruit Smoothies. They cut up all the fruit and used the blender to make the smoothies. In the afternoon a group of us went to the post box to post our grandparents invitations. We planted runner beans and draw castles to attach to our wooden stick. We enjoyed playing the beans game outside. In the afternoon we played on the playtrail and made up lots of imaginative stories.

Throughout the week we have enjoyed constructing with the Duplo, plastic straws, robot construction.  In the number area we have been playing with the beans and the numeral cupcake cases. We put the correct number of beans into the cupcake numeral. We have enjoyed using the initial sounds pots by working out which pictures go in the correct initial sound pot.
