Our favourite toys and stories

Image result for toys and books

Hello everyone,

Last week we listened to the story of What the ladybird heard. We really enjoyed the story. We made our own ladybird with the same numbers of spots on each half of the ladybird. We were great at using the scissors, glue and paint to create these. We listened to the songs of what the ladybird heard and joined in with the words. We have really enjoyed visiting the guinea pigs, looking after them and holding them on our laps. We have been very busy watering our plants and eating lots of homegrown cucumbers. On Wednesday we spent the whole day in the Reception classroom as reception children were out on a school trip. We enjoyed exploring the different learning areas and outside space. We played on the balance bikes.  On Friday morning we went to Year 1 class assembly which really enjoyed watching.

This week we are going to enjoy playing with all our favourite preschool toys and learning areas. We are going to be listening to our favourite stories. If you have a favourite story or toy please come and tell an adult. We are also going to be making our own slime... Which is going to be great fun. We will continue to look after the guinea pigs and chickens. We will be looking to see if our potatoes are ready. If the potatoes are ready we will be making potato salad to bring home.

Sounds and letters

A mixture of rhyming, initial sounds and musical instruments.

Jennie Jigsaw

This term Jennie jigsaw is talking about changing me. We will be talking about how our bodies are changing as time moves forward and how they have already changed since we were a baby.
