Hello everyone,

We hope you all had a wonderful half term and enjoyed the lovely weather we had.

This week we will be sharing our news about what we have been doing in the half term. Please do bring in pictures, objects etc of what you have been up to in the holidays. We will be drawing some pictures of what we have been doing in the holidays. Also this week we will be making ice cream and fruit lollies, talking about our favourite flavours of ice cream and making it into a graph. We will also be painting and collaging ice creams. We have got some ice creams songs and rhymes to sing. In the maths area this week we have got an ice cream parlour role play area encouraging the children to role play shops using money. In classroom 2 we have got a shoe shop which the children are really enjoying. If you have any old shoes you could add to our collection please do bring them in.

Home Learning:- When you go to the shops, can you recognise the different coins you may use?

Stay and play is on Friday 9th June starting at 8.30 till 9.00. It will be lovely to see lots of our families there.

Pre-school photographs has been cancelled tomorrow and I will put the new date in the blog next week.

On Friday after school from this week till the end of term, POWSA will be selling ice lolly and ice creams at the end of the school day (3.30) from the pre-school summer house.

This coming Saturday is the school fair starting from 11.00 till 2.00pm. Pre-school are running the refreshments and it would be great if you can donate some cakes for the stall. Please bring them in by Friday. The summer fair is a lovely family event and would be great to see lots of our families there.

Hopefully we will get some beautiful sunny weather over the next 6 weeks so please make sure children are sun creamed and have a sun hat.

The children have drawn a picture of themselves which has been made into a Pre-school class tea towel. There will be a letter coming home within the next week with all the details along with an order form. There is a template of the tea towel up in the window. It will be in the colour of green.

Its lovely to see so many wows coming in. The children really enjoy sharing their news and achievements.

Please do come and see the pre-school team if you have any questions.

Thanks

Julia and Pre-school team.
