Hello everyone
Last week we all enjoyed reading the story
of the Christmas Robin by David Hatley. We made the Christmas tree decorations
from the story for the Christmas tree festival at St Georges Church. The
children really enjoyed the story about the robin.
The Christmas baking has started with lovely smells filling the pre-school, with some children
having had a go at weighing out the ingredients for their cooking. There are some
photos of our Christmas baking on display.
We have been talking about the initial sounds of our names
along with our friends name during sounds and letters.
It was lovely to see lots of our families join us for our
family breakfast last week, and I hope you agree that it was a great success.
This week we are going out
in the taxi’s to the garden centre to see the Christmas decorations. We will be
talking about the colours and shapes of the decorations along with different textures
and smells. We will be taking some photo’s using the ipad of our favourite
decorations.
Also this week we will be continuing to make some lovely
Christmas decorations to bring home next week.
This week we will also be talking about and sharing stories
of the nativity story. We will be learning lots of Christmas songs and reading different
Christmas stories throughout the week.
